Peguera is a holiday resort west of the capital Palma de Mallorca. Peguera is very popular, especially with families and older German tourists. The price level is average. The place is very clean, most car traffic has been banned from the center. The beaches are clean and exemplary. It is mainly for these reasons that Peguera regularly receives the best reviews among the German-speaking holiday resorts on Mallorca. Peguera is fully geared towards tourists from Germany. English and others rarely come here. German is spoken.

In addition to the local beach with the most beautiful promenade of all places on Mallorca, the Cala Fornells beach, which is a good kilometer west of Peguera, is also recommended.

Santa Ponca: (in German and English often also the local name: Santa Ponsa). A huge, fast-growing holiday resort not far from Peguera in the direction of Palma. Also a good beach and a clean, laid-out center. Most vacationers like Peguera a little better, but Santa Ponsa also has its loyal fans.
